Miami University is hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Biological Sciences at the Hamilton Campus.The successful applicant will teach general biology, courses in organismal biology or biological diversity, and/or courses in their area of expertise; maintain an active research program and seek external funding; advise students; and provide service to the institution and profession. The Hamilton Campus is located 16 miles from the university's main campus in Oxford, Ohio.
Consideration may be given to candidates
• with postdoctoral experience and/or prior teaching experience at the college level;
• who explore mechanisms that underlie animal diversity or behavior at any level of biological organization;
• with research interests complementing those of current faculty in Biology and/or Microbiology and who
show potential for research collaborations with other Miami biologists.
